MONDAY: EPA Administrator Regan to Visit Pennsylvania to Announce Latest Funding from President Biden's Historic Investments in America for Clean School Buses

On Monday, Administrator will join Mitch Landrieu, Senator Casey, and Congressman Cartwright for major funding announcement in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania where the local school district is set to receive 15 new electric buses

WASHINGTON (April 21, 2023) – On Monday, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael S. Regan will travel to Pennsylvania to join White House Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator Mitch Landrieu, Senator Bob Casey, Congressman Matt Cartwright, school officials and students to discuss the transition to a clean transportation future, announce the latest round of funding for new clean school buses and highlight how President Biden's Investing in America Agenda is delivering environmental and economic benefits for all.

This round follows nearly $1 billion already awarded through the rebate competition last year to fund thousands of electric and low-emission school buses across school districts, including 15 new electric buses for Nanticoke, PA, thanks to President Biden's Invest in America Agenda.

During the visit, Administrator Regan will deliver remarks announcing the new funding, take questions from press and join students for an electric school bus ride.

Administrator Regan will be available for questions from press following remarks. All portions of the event are open press. Space on the bus ride is limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
