EPA Regional Administrator Adam Ortiz, WVDEP to Join McDowell County in Celebrating New Sewer Project

For first-time ever, residents will have public sewer service

 

PHILADELPHIA, (June 27, 2023) — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator Adam Ortiz, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection officials, and McDowell County Public Service District will hold a ribbon-cutting June 28 celebrating the completion of the first phase of the Coalwood Wastewater project.  Phase 1 of the project will bring for the first time ever public sewer service to 72 homes in Coalwood.
