EPA to announce donation of 60 laptops to two Philadelphia  

High Schools

 

WHAT: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will announce the donation of 60 laptop computers to two Philadelphia high schools as part of an ongoing effort to keep harmful electronics away from landfills and put them to productive use in schools.

The computers are being donated under the U.S. General Service Administration's Computers for Learning Program that encourages government agencies to transfer excess computers to schools and educational nonprofit organizations.

WHEN:  9:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018
