| The President's Task Force on Environmental Health Risks and Safety Risks to Children (Task Force) is publishing their priority activities for the next 5 years. This comprehensive roadmap outlines key initiatives aimed at safeguarding children's health amidst the latest challenges. The 2024-2028 Priority Activities document dives into four priority areas: - Lead Exposures,
- Climate Change, Emergencies, and Disasters,
- Chemical Exposures, and
- Asthma Disparities.
Each section details short- and long-term actions addressing data gaps; regulations and policies; communication and engagement; and interagency coordination. The Task Force is the focal point for the federal government to scope, plan, and act together for the betterment of children's environmental health and safety.
