The report highlights key federal actions and progress made to reduce childhood lead exposures and associated health impacts. Read the Progress Report About the Federal Lead Action Plan In 2018, the Task Force released the Federal Lead Action Plan to Reduce Childhood Lead Exposures and Associated Health Impacts. This plan serves as a blueprint for a coordinated federal strategy to reduce lead exposure and protect children’s health. In 2024, the Task Force published a first progress report covering efforts and advancements made from December 2018 – April 2024.
