In 2018, the Task Force released the Federal Lead Action Plan to Reduce Childhood Lead Exposures and Associated Health Impacts. This plan serves as a blueprint for a coordinated federal strategy to reduce lead exposure and protect children’s health. In 2024, the Task Force published a first progress report covering efforts and advancements made from December 2018 – April 2024. The Task Force is a federal interagency group that coordinates national policy, guidance, and action to reduce environmental and safety risks to children’s health. |
